Thank you for visiting my website. I hope to earn your continued support and I ask for your vote in the special election to fill the City Council district 1 vacancy on May 4th. Below is my plan for healthy neighborhoods.
Fight for Community Services – During tough budget times, Paula will fight to keep our communities safe
and clean, make sure our libraries and recreation centers remain open and accessible to all, expand recycling
and compost programs and maintain area parks. She will also fight to increase services for our seniors.
Make Government More Accessible – Paula will be a full-time Councilmember and hold monthly
community meetings where everyone is welcome, and when you reach out to Paula with a question or
concern, she’ll get back to you right away.
Encourage Neighborhood Schools – Our community and schools should share more resources. Paula
will work to expand after-school programs using rec centers and libraries, ensuring our kids have
somewhere to go, reducing crime and increasing educational support time.
Promote Fiscal Responsibility – Paula will work to balance Denver’s budget just like she did in the
State Senate, by consolidating services to save money and by eliminating wasteful spending. She
will also put forth a responsible way to pay for any new programs that she proposes.
Sincerely,
Paula E. Sandoval
