While not required by law, since I am a sitting State Senator I have chosen to adhere to both City and State campaign finance regulations regarding who can donate to my campaign while we are in session. Sandoval for Council campaign you acknowledge that you: (a) are a citizen of the United States; (b) are not a registered as a professional or volunteer lobbyist with the State of Colorado; and (c) are not a Principal of a registered professional or volunteer lobbyist with the State of Colorado.  "Principal" means any person that employs, retains, engages, or uses, with or without compensation, a professional or volunteer lobbyist.  One does not become a principal, nor may one be considered a principal, merely by belonging to an organization or owning stock in a corporation that employs a lobbyist.

For this campaign you also acknowledge that you do not have business of any sort pending before the State Senate where Senator Sandoval is a voting member.
